Fall is my favorite time of year. While some people see it as a time of death and decay, I see it as something hopeful. The cold air lifts the spirits that were oppressed by heat, and with the scent of fall comes a renewed sense of optimism.
Because of this, I like to find many opportunities to commune with nature and see fall color. The problem? Fall is also a notoriously busy time of year, and I've been booked on several evenings and weekends that I might have used to take an autumn tour.
This weekend I will remedy that! It's November, but as of today the trees still have leaves and the oranges and yellows and reds still shine like jewels against the bright blue sky.
I'll post pictures of my nature time later on. Meanwhile, I hope you too are enjoying the splendid sights of fall!
