Spring is in the air, and in the tulips and crocuses that are nosing their way out of the ground. But this morning, April 2nd, we woke up to snow. Not just a brief flurry, but an actual dusting of white on rooftops and yards, surprising us with its unseasonal presence. It's quite cold, too, causing me to burrow in my house when I would normally go wandering in the fresh air.
I don't mind so much, though, because although I enjoy mild weather, I really dislike hot weather, so I'll put up with cold a bit longer if it will prolong the eventual heat and humidity.
